Our approach

How we look at women's health

We think about women's health as three distinct categories: conditions specific to women, conditions that show up differently in women, and conditions where women carry a disproportionate share of the burden. We built Patient Partner Capital to invest across all three, using patient-derived evidence as part of how we evaluate companies. We focus on therapeutics, diagnostics, and platform technologies, evaluating each opportunity with the same rigor biopharma applies to its own pipeline decisions.

What makes us different

Patient insight, before the term sheet — not after

Patient-centricity is now standard across biopharma. We take it one step further.

At Patient Partner Capital, patient-derived evidence is integrated into diligence and underwriting before capital is deployed — an execution model that is designed to improve the probability of success of biotech.

Why now

Women's health VC investment reached $2.6B in 2024, up 55% year-over-year — and biopharma's share of that capital nearly tripled, from 12% (2021) to 34% (2024), as the category shifts from consumer health apps toward drug development itself.
